Game of Thrones 30 Days Tumblr Challenge: Day 09 ~ Least favourite character.

Missed a couple days back there I think. Meh.

Okay so least favorite character. Well it’s a tie among Robert Baratheon, Catelyn Stark, and Tywin Lannister. I honestly cannot decide which of these assholes I hate more than the other.

I dislike Robert because he mopes about instead of doing his job, and is unnecessarily cruel to his wife, mourning after Lyanna, when in all honesty he’d be whoring around the same way even if it were poor Lyanna he was married to and not Cersei. & Lyanna would not have stood by it at all, being the hot-blooded Stark that she was. I don’t blame Cersei for being what she is because her Lannister blood was just made worse by her treatment at Robert’s hands. It’s not even the whoring though. Robert knowingly puts the realm under extensive amounts of debt, puts Ned Stark in a horrible position, right in the jaws of the lion (pun intended), doesn’t treat his brothers the way they should have been treated, especially Stannis, and doesn’t give two shits about the bastards he’s fathered all across Westeros, from King’s Landing to the Vale. He shirks his duties as a king and says he doesn’t want to rule, yet he wants Dany and Viserys dead because they threaten his comfortable seat. What a total douche.

And Catelyn, don’t get me started on that stupid Tully woman. While I understand where Cat’s decisions came from, they still make me angry. She starts off the whole fiasco by kidnapping a Lannister, the nicest Lannister at that, and then just keeps making the worst possible decisions. She takes the path of revenge rather than just being there for her children. Her thoughts turn to Sansa and Arya with desperation only when she thinks Bran and Rickon and gone. And what happens after the Red Wedding, and what she does to Brienne, and the entire useless shitload of the Tully clan just infuriates me to no end. They’re all selfish jerks and need to die like little bitches. And her treatment of Jon. Just no. You stupid bitch, he loves your kids like his own brothers and sisters, he never wants anything from you. & it wasn’t just Jon. She looks down on all bastards. She sneers at Mya Stone when she visits Lysa at the Eyrie, she wonders why anyone would want to die for Edric Storm when Stannis attacks Storm’s End, because he’s just a bastard. She’s just snobby and mean and awful. And she should know better.

Tywin is pretty self-explanatory, but primarily my hate for him is because of the way he treats Tyrion. Just despicable. I honestly hope we find out at some point that Tyrion is a bastard of some sort. Because seriously, Tywin is just a pile of shit to all his kids. What a total and complete son of a bitch.
